T-Systems France has unveiled a new strategy aimed at improving the company’s profitability.
First of all, the IT services company is now looking to focus on major companies (key accounts) and large SMEs. The new CEO of T-Systems France, Nikolaï Beckers, believes that his company’s sales network is unsuited to targeting all sizes of company.
As regards sales, T-Systems France will be focusing on their cloud computing solutions. It will be attempting, in particular, to replicate in France the ‘TelekomCloud’ (SAP on Demand, IaaS, Microsoft Dynamics CRM online, etc.) offered by Deutsche Telekom in its domestic market.
To meet the complex needs of key accounts more effectively and offer higher added-value services, T-Systems France is looking to add new skills to its workforce (systems architects, project managers, etc.).
Currently, most of the IT services company’s business in France comes from SAP integration projects and desktop services, which are not considered to be sufficiently profitable.
