Sofrecom sponsors the "Passeport Avenir Maroc" association

During November 2014, French association ”Passeport Avenir” and the “Fondation Marocaine de l’Etudiant” (a.k.a FME) have signed a partnership agreement in developing and promoting diversity involving companies and Moroccan civil society through a network of young world economics leaders from underprivileged environments.

Created in 2005 and still run by its founder Benjamin Blavier, “Passeport Avenir” is a French association devoted to ease off discriminations by promoting equality.
The association federates companies, schools, universities and young executives with a variety of social, ethnical or territorial backgrounds.

On the 18th of December 2014 the “Passeport Avenir” project was launched in Rabat in presence of FME representatives and partner companies including Sofrecom Services Maroc (SSM).
Participants included Abdessamad Bouzoubaa, Sofrecom’s Corporate Social Responsibility Director, Laurent Depond and Maryse Droff from Orange group's Diversity Direction.
“Passeport Avenir” tutoring program is deeply rooted within the Orange group diversity policy, once again Sofrecom and Orange joins Benjamin Blavier in this effort for equality.

50 FME students from deprived environments selected on their social and academics backgrounds will be granted professional tutoring by employees of Moroccan partner companies in Casablanca and Rabat.

Going on till October 2015, tutors will provide mentoring and help students push doors, better understand the corporate world and build an ambitious professional project using the Passeport Avenir tools.

The 10 SSM tutors have already scheduled personal meetings all along the school year.

“Passeport Avenir Maroc” is sponsored by companies Sofrecom Services Maroc and Meditel from the Orange group, as well as other companies including Alcatel-Lucent, Deloitte, BMCI, Wafasalaf and Cosumar.
