Establishment of a Service Center in Morocco
In 2016, Jacques Moulin, CEO of Sofrecom, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the creation of a new International Service Center in Casablanca. The agreement was signed with the Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment, and Digital Economy, as well as the Minister of Economy and Finance, in the presence of King Mohammed VI at the Royal Palace of Casablanca.
Since October 2016, the Casablanca center has generated the creation of over a hundred highly skilled and high-value-added jobs dedicated to the digital transformation of public administrations, territories, and businesses.
Morocco, with which Sofrecom maintains excellent collaborative relations, is highly attuned to the challenges of digital transformation and boasts a rich pool of highly qualified talent. It remains an attractive hub for the expansion of our activities.
The primary target audience includes French and Moroccan clients, aiming to accelerate their digital transformation programs through short development cycles, co-creation of tailor-made solutions, and a strong focus on user experience.
To support its operations, Sofrecom plans to create 400 highly skilled jobs in IT services and support infrastructures related to the digital transformation of organizations. These positions include designers, developers, consultants, architects, and managers.
To achieve this, Sofrecom is actively recruiting young Moroccan graduates from top universities and engineering schools that have maintained long-standing partnerships with the French group.
The service center also offers positions to Moroccan digital experts residing abroad, either for its local activities in Morocco or for strategic projects carried out in other countries where the company operates.
Present in Morocco for 30 years, Sofrecom established Sofrecom Services Maroc in Rabat in 2004. This offshore service and software engineering center leverages the expertise of French-speaking Moroccan professionals.
