Challenge: Multichannel e-shop redesign for an operator in Africa & the Middle East
Our client, an operator present in Africa and the Middle East, sought Sofrecom’s expertise to redesign its e-shops (online stores) in order to offer customers a modern, seamless, and multichannel shopping experience.
Methodology: Open Source integration and customization tailored to each country
To avoid software licensing costs, the client selected an Open Source platform. Leveraging its expertise, Sofrecom customized and integrated the e-shop into each country’s information system. The features were adapted to product catalogues and the specific regulatory requirements of each market.
Result: Optimized user experience and unified purchasing journey
This project enables the operator’s customers to enjoy a more comfortable browsing experience on any device thanks to a responsive interface (smartphones, tablets, and computers). Their shopping journey is now multichannel: they can retrieve in-store a shopping cart they started online.
