Sofrecom Tunisia Renews Its GEEIS Diversity Certification
Sofrecom Tunisia has renewed its GEEIS Diversity certification (Gender Equality European & International Standard), following an audit conducted by TÜV Rheinland.
This international recognition acknowledges a commitment pursued over several years and confirms Sofrecom Tunisia’s determination to sustainably embed equality, diversity and inclusion issues into its practices and corporate culture.
A Long-Term Commitment
Sofrecom Tunisia obtained its first GEEIS certification in 2022, followed by a monitoring audit in 2024 and a new assessment in 2026.
- Throughout these stages, the company has continued to structure and develop its initiatives around several key priorities:
- promoting gender diversity across professions and areas of expertise;
- supporting women’s access to leadership positions;
- promoting pay equity;
- supporting work-life balance;
- preventing sexism, harassment and violence.
This approach is also supported by indicators that help measure progress. Today, women represent 52% of Sofrecom Tunisia’s employees and 42% of its managers.
Commitments Translated into Concrete Actions
Beyond policies and indicators, Sofrecom Tunisia implements concrete initiatives to bring these commitments to life on a daily basis.
Among them, Elle’IT Network, launched in 2023, supports female engineering students in their final year through a mentoring programme, workshops, professional networking events, and exchanges with digital experts.
With two cohorts supported since its launch, the programme helps strengthen young women’s access to careers in the digital sector, develop their skills and professional networks, and better prepare them to enter the workforce.
A Recognition That Encourages Continued Progress
« This recognition reflects the progress made by Sofrecom Tunisia and the commitment of our teams over the past few years. The renewal of our GEEIS certification encourages us to continue our efforts in favour of professional equality, diversity and inclusion, and to sustainably embed these priorities into our approach », Dorsaf Bejaoui, Managing Director of Sofrecom Tunisia
For Cristina Lunghi, founder of Arborus, the organisation behind the GEEIS label: « With the renewal of its GEEIS Diversity certification in July 2026, Sofrecom Tunisia confirms its position among Tunisia’s leading companies in terms of equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion. Over the years, Sofrecom Tunisia has demonstrated its ability to sustainably place these issues at the heart of its HR and CSR policies, making professional equality, diversity and inclusion key pillars of its transformation »
Keeping the Momentum Going
This renewal is part of a continuous improvement approach.
Sofrecom Tunisia intends to pursue its initiatives, particularly by strengthening its mentoring programmes, as well as its employee training and awareness-raising activities.
The ambition: to continue advancing equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion through concrete actions and measurable commitments.
