We are very happy and proud to have shared this moment with the children, and we will continue our CSR commitments in the future with more concrete actions in the field. This reflects the strength and spirit of Sofrecom’s CSR approach as an integrated international group.

During the month of Ramadan, Sofrecom Tunisia entered into a partnership agreement with the Al Amal Association for a solidarity initiative. This association, located in the suburbs of Ariana, supports children and adolescents with mental and/or motor disabilities.

On June 23, Siwar FARHAT, Managing Director of Sofrecom Tunisia, accompanied by around twenty employee volunteers, spent a joyful and heartwarming morning with the children supported by Al Amal.

The visit began with a tour of the facility. The teams then took time to play and dance with the children, enjoying a variety of fun activities including a clown, magicians, and other entertainment.

At the end of this engaging and emotional visit, the 44 children and adolescents received, on behalf of Sofrecom Tunisia, clothes, shoes, and Ramadan food baskets (“couffins”).

"We are very happy and proud to have shared this moment with the children and we will continue our CSR commitments in the future with more concrete, on-the-ground actions. This is the strength and spirit of Sofrecom’s CSR approach as an integrated international group."

This first initiative allowed Sofrecom Tunisia to witness the strong motivation and enthusiasm of local associations for meaningful and tangible actions.

The results of this initiative were overwhelmingly positive—not only for the children and the association, but also for the Sofrecom Tunisia volunteers. It reinforced the company's determination to engage further in social initiatives, particularly in support of the environment, ethics, and people with disabilities.

Sofrecom: an Eco-Citizen international group

Sofrecom Tunisia applies the Sofrecom Group’s CSR commitments at the local level, based on the belief that a responsible company should promote the economic and social development of its environment. This is especially important and defining for Sofrecom, given its wide international footprint. It is therefore committed to implementing this policy across all its local entities.

Sofrecom’s CSR policy involves a wide range of actions led by the CSR department throughout the year, focusing on promoting diversity, non-discrimination, and professional equality. Examples include International Women’s Rights Day, Engagement Week, Solidarity Week, waste sorting initiatives, and more.

The CSR department also encourages partnerships with local associations and participation in certified programs, such as the Diversity Label in France or the Professional Equality Trophy in Morocco.

Al Amal Association

Founded in 1999, Al Amal is a specialized center for children with disabilities. It serves as an alternative to the regular Tunisian school system, which cannot accommodate children with mental and/or motor disabilities. The association is supported daily by ten volunteers who care for the 44 children in its care.
