This site in Sfax is a new step in our growth strategy. It gives us the opportunity to pursue our development with highly qualified profiles in the digital sector, while being as close as possible to research and university training sites. It also reflects our desire to contribute to the creation of jobs in Tunisia, and to meet the aspirations of some of our teams

Sofrecom Tunisia is proud to announce the inauguration of its new regional site in Sfax, on Thursday, June 2, 2022. This event was marked by the presence of Mr. Guillaume Boudin, General Manager of Sofrecom Group, Mr. Samir Benzahra, General Manager of Sofrecom Tunisia and many guests representing the academic and industrial ecosystem of the region.

One year after the inauguration of its new headquarters in Tunis, Sofrecom Tunisia is now located at the Sfax technopole with its second site at the Hotel des Entreprises.

This development in Sfax is consistent with the company's policy. "The largest city in the south is a known and experienced area for Sofrecom Tunisia. Over the years, our company has already established several partnerships with schools and especially with the Digital Research Centre of Sfax (CRNS). Sfax is also a real regional hub and a considerable pool of Tunisian skills in the digital field", said Mr. Samir Benzahra, General Manager of Sofrecom Tunisia. Sofrecom has thus hired doctoral researchers in Sfax since 2018, who work on subjects such as AI-based Agritech and Blockchain.

Through this installation, Sofrecom shows its ambitions to strengthen its historical partnerships and to be a major player in the development of Tunisia.

The Sofrecom group is an international consulting and engineering firm specialized in telecommunications with an experience of more than 10 years in Tunisia and 50 years internationally.  Sofrecom Tunisia is today an important player in the digital sector in Tunisia, more than half of its engineers are women.
