Sofrecom strengthens its presence in Georgia with the opening of a new branch
Sofrecom, a subsidiary of the Orange Group, is opening a new branch in Georgia, reinforcing its presence in the country and the region. Through this new office, the Sofrecom Group aims to consolidate its position as a key player in the digital transformation of telecom operators and governments.
A Strategic Partner for Digital Transformation

In Georgia, Sofrecom has been supporting the Silknet Group since 2013 in developing and deploying its strategy, as well as transforming its network and IT systems. Now that Silknet has acquired Geocell to become the leading convergent telecom operator in the country, Sofrecom will continue to assist in its innovation initiatives and the development of Mobile Financial Services.
Sofrecom also aims to share its digital transformation expertise with Georgian academic and governmental institutions, particularly through:
