On the occasion of Sofrecom’s 50th anniversary, Jacques Moulin reflects on the company’s ambitions.
Sofrecom celebrates 50 years. What is your view on its longevity?
We are proud of this long journey: 50 years supporting innovation and transformation for over 200 operators and governments around the world.
Sofrecom has always had foresight: identifying and understanding major shifts that have reshaped our sector over the last half-century. We've capitalized on unique expertise in telecom consulting and engineering to develop innovative approaches, leveraging the diversity of our talents: 1,400 experts from over 30 nationalities, agile in deploying Orange innovations in diverse environments.
What are Sofrecom’s ambitions for 2020?
We aim to be the preferred partner for the digital transformation of operators and governments. We continue to strengthen our partnerships with the digital ecosystem across our 11 local entities, opening new growth drivers for our clients.
With strong local roots and deep market insights, we will remain a strategic guide in supporting Orange Group’s international development.
As the first Orange Group entity to earn the Afnor Diversity label in 2015, we believe in multiculturalism, gender equality, and skills development. Our ambition is to be a benchmark employer and to secure a bright future for our people in all our countries.
What is your key lever to be the preferred partner for operators?
Digital is profoundly transforming human and organizational relationships. To support our partners through disruptive innovation, we place people at the heart of our Change Management & Capacity Building approach.
We empower employees to drive change and co-build their organizations with them, sharing our experience. We also hire and train experts in the new digital professions.
Already, 96% of our clients praise Sofrecom’s added value.
