Challenge: Fixed Number Portability and Regulatory Compliance
Our customer needed to comply with new national regulations on fixed number portability. This operator, one of the global leaders in the telecom market, required support in managing this strategic inter-operator project. The goal was to define and implement a fixed number portability solution compatible with the processes set by the regulator.
Methodology: Rapid Implementation via Gaïa and Operational Management
Relying on Gaïa, the commercial and technical management solution for Fixed and Broadband offers previously developed and integrated by Sofrecom, we implemented in less than six months an operational management solution for ported numbers and enabled the deployment of associated business processes within the operator: commercial management of portability, identification of ported numbers, application of new pricing rules, and more.
Result: Secured Interoperability and Successful Commercial Launch
