After acquiring a telecom operator, our client committed to modernizing the IT system of its new subsidiary. The main challenge: gaining market share. The objectives: deliver high-quality service, launch innovative and convergent new products, and expand the sales network.
Methodology: Collaborative Transformation and Tailored Architecture
Sofrecom supported its client in the operational transformation of its IT system by adopting a collaborative and responsive approach involving all the operator’s business units and its main IT suppliers (software vendors, outsourcers). After conducting an audit of the existing IT system, we defined and designed an architecture adapted to the development of new convergent offers.
Result: High-Performance IT System Aligned with Market Standards
A high-performance IT system, compliant with market standards and aligned with the recommendations of the group to which the operator now belongs, was deployed in eight months without exceeding the planned budget. The activities of the marketing, network, and IT divisions were harmonized in terms of organization and business processes. New working methods were also implemented to enhance the responsiveness and agility of the IT system in meeting the operator’s business objectives.
