When France Telecom-Orange acquired Congo Chine Telecom (CCT), Sofrecom formed a task force of ten senior experts, who provided their knowledge of the operator business in Africa. The Sofrecom team's input in Kinshasa in March 2011 has enabled the Orange group to provide a clear vision of CCT’s network assets, organization and level of maturity of practices.
Only three days after the acquisition of CCT by Orange on Friday, October 21, Sofrecom mobilized a new team in Kinshasa to secure the resumption of operations and support Orange with its strategy.
Operational due diligence consists of a detailed analysis of the way operations are implemented in the various specialist fields: network, information systems, marketing, distribution, etc.
Sofrecom experts analyzed CCT's key business processes in record time, using the eTOM (enhanced Telecom Operations Map) international standard. After analyzing the discrepancy between target and existing processes, Sofrecom made recommendations for Orange and supports it in the Congolese operator's deployment and transformation.
