All the development processes have been evaluated in these two countries. Thus, aspects such as the experience and the resource expertise necessary for managing projects have been determining in the suppliers selection. To carry out its developments in Argentina, PSA Peugeot Citroen Argentina has selected three partners among which Sofrecom Argentina who strongly positioned itself on each project.
The first project developed by Sofrecom Argentina was achieved with a level of performance considered as excellent by the client both in terms of deadline respect as in terms of resources optimization. This project called SQIP, included the migration of PSA applications towards the Oracle system. Sofrecom’s teams thoroughly carried out this project on PSA’s premises in Argentina.
The second project, called HSP, applied to the migration, from Lotus Domino
towards J2EE, of the PSA group application used for the management of dangerous material in all its factories worldwide. Migration processes were both carried out from PSA Argentina premises and remotely, which gives some idea of the project complexity level.
The success of these two projects represents, for Sofrecom, the concretization of a long-term cooperation with PSA Peugeot Citroën.
