The migration to Gaïa V 5.4 enabled the operator to retain its current hardware system architecture while updating its software solution and reducing to a maximum the impacts and risks through a short implementation time. This new version allow ed CTE to continue its operations in a particularly adapted way while maximizing its ROI.
This project has been carried out at the Sofrecom development centres in France and in El Salvador in collaboration with CTE. Thanks to its very extensive system expertise, CTE have actively participated in the integration of the new Gaïa version and its 30 interfaces.
The contract is the result of an ongoing collaboration and trusting relationship between Sofrecom and CTE. Indeed, Sofrecom has supported the transformation of the operator since its privatization in 1998, controlled at that time by a consortium led by France Telecom before being taken over in 2003 by the America Movil group (Mexico Telecom).
The choice of the Gaïa solution, validated by the America Movil group, consolidates Sofrecom’s determination to accompany the internationalization and regional development of the group through its expandable and open-ended Telecom dedicated solutions.
