On September 17th 2008, Telkom Kenya launched its GSM offers under Orange brand. Sofrecom took up the challenge by mobilizing a multidisciplinary team of experts and consultants to accompany the launch of the new GSM network and the new mobile and high-speed internet offers under Orange brand.
Sofrecom carried-out its value creator for operator’s mission by enabling the historical operator to become the first integrated operator in the country. From now on, the historical operator offers Kenyans convergent fixed, mobile and internet telecommunications services at once.
First accessible from Nairobi and Mombassa, those services will progressively spread all over the country. By the end of September 2008, 26 000 new clients had subscribe with Orange Kenya.
