Philippe Mazaud joined Sofrecom in early 2016 as Human Resources Director. His 20 years with Orange has given him broad experience of B2B and mass-market distribution, international development and, over the last 10 years, human resources management.
He joined Orange group in 1993, working for the mobile, fax and videoconference commercialization subsidiary EGT. He worked initially in sales with the goal of developing mobile business with key accounts such as EDF, Air France and 3M.
Later, he was involved in selling Orange services and created the commercial organization needed to enable European subsidiaries (Germany, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy) to address large international companies.
Between 1997 and 2002, Philippe worked for France Telecom Mobile International (FTMI) and participated as sales and distribution manager in many start-up projects for Orange mobile operators abroad.
In 2003, he steered his career towards human resources. He was successively manager of HR Strategy in Orange's Strategy and Brand Management Division, then Transformation Manager at Orange Distribution. He left Orange in 2012 to join Dixons Carphone as HR Manager for Southern Europe and HR Manager of the London-based B2B division.
Philippe holds a degree in economics from the University of Paris I Sorbonne and completed the "Leading Strategies for Outstanding Performance" course at the HEC international business school in Paris.
