To meet the growing demand of businesses for video communications, BT and Verizon are increasing the interoperability arrangements between their telepresence offerings. According to the terms of the agreement reached between BT and Verizon Enterprise Solutions, each operator will remain the single point of contact for their respective customers. Both operators will, in particular, run their telepresence support, assistance and billing services separately.
This agreement follows similar partnerships in this field between the European carriers BT and Orange, as well as between Orange and the US carrier AT&T. All three interoperability agreements enable customers with Cisco Telepresence systems to extend their community of contacts, thus improving their return on investment (ROI).
