World BSS Awards 2009

Sofrecom and Highdeal win the World BSS Award 2009 for the “Best BSS Implementation Project (Network Operator/ Service provider / Partners )” category with their “convergent billing” solution implemented in the scope of Orange Niger launch project.

Orange Niger has deployed Highdeal Transactive® as part of its convergent billing platform. This solution has been selected and successfully integrated by Sofrecom, a leader in Telecoms consultancy and information technologies a subsidiary of the France Telecom – Orange Group. The prizes were presented at the BSS Summit in Amsterdam 8th-11th June 2009.

It is the second award won by Sofrecom for this project. Indeed, on April 8th 2008, Sofrecom’s team « delivery of a full convergent information system to Orange Niger » received the business and performance ITN Award** in the presence of Didier Lombard, Chairman and CEO of the France Telecom- Orange group.

The jury of the ITN Awards is made-up of important custumors or prescribers. The project presented by Orange Niger and Sofrecom teams has been selected among 14 shortlisted files and 36 nominated projects.
