Solidere Lebanon, IPTV deployment

Sofrecom successfully carried-out, in partenership with Orange Business Services, an operational IPTV deployment for Solidere Lebanon.

Sofrecom’s experts were involved in the choice of the technical solution suited for Solidere and in the project coordination: technical assistance for network engineering rules, home gateway and OSS/BSS interface contracts. Sofrecom was also involved in the installation of the technical solution on site and its validation, contents marketing and the training of the technical and content operational teams.

This one year time project is a world first in the deployment of a cardless Viaccess access supervision (Purple box) over Thomson’s SmartVision plateform and Sagem’s set top box.

Orange Business Services expertise in engineering, deployment and operation of IP networks coupled with Sofrecom’s know-how in IPTV and content management made this project a success.
