Orange Caraibe - deployment of the Caribbean mobile network
Rich of the Sofrecom’s technical expertise in transmission and mobile radio, Orange selected Sofrecom for the engineering and deployment of its Caribbean network.
Sofrecom provided the operator with a technical team in the following areas:
- 2G radio optimisation
- engineering and deployment of SDH transmission
- operation and maintenance of radio sites and transmission as well as NSS
- technical coordination for roaming
Following this launching, Sofrecom which accompanied Orange since 2006, also actively participated in the UMTS deployment of the operator.
