Mauritania: Sofrecom leads the e-Government seminar

Placed under the high patronage of the French Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of the Modernisation of the Administration and ICTs of Mauritania, this seminar aimed to assist the Mauritanian government in its ICT growth policy strategy and to make this policy a strong growth driver for the country.

During this seminar, held in Nouakchott from 12 to 14 January 2010, Sofrecom gave a presentation on the different fields of electronic administration impacted by an e-Government strategy:

  • The spheres of electronic administration
  • Expansion in usages
  • The formalisation of a vision and the objectives to achieve
  • The definition of a strategy and roadmap
  • The improvement of the regulatory framework, human resources and infrastructures

Following this seminar, Alain Masson, Sales Director of Sofrecom, answered questions from the Nouakchott television journalist
